Visit to the Watercress Line 2025

Join us for this fun day at the Watercress Line

We have once again exclusively booked a group visit to the Watercress Line. We are subsidising this event, so this will be available to members of our branch and their families at a much reduced entry charge.

Programme:

• 10.15am - Meet outside Alresford Station
• 10.30am - Explore the platform and station
• 11.00am - Catch train to Alton
• 11.40am - Train arrives at Alton
• 12.00pm - Stay on train and return to Ropley
• 12.24pm - Train arrives at Ropley
• 12.30pm - break for lunch - picnic area available. Explore station site.
• 2.24pm - Catch train back to Alresford
• 2.35pm - Train arrives back at Alresford, depart, visit gift shop, etc if open

Ticket Price:

     £10.00* Adults and £5.00* Children (16 years and under)
  *suggested minimum donation

Before booking, please carefully read the information below.

Important booking information and terms:

• This offer is only available to NAS South Hampshire Branch members and their families/carers (if you have received an email about this directly from NAS South Hampshire Branch, then you are eligible). Please do not pass this information on to others. Bookings received from non-Branch members will be cancelled and a refund issued.
• You will need the Access Code, which can be found in the email you have been sent, to book places.
• You will be able to book a maximum of 5 tickets.
• Branch members must pre-book their tickets through this site (not through the Watercress Line).
• There is a limit on the number of places available. Bookings will be accepted on a 'first come, first served' basis. Booking will close when all tickets are sold.
• Once complete, no amendments to the booking can be made. 
• Tickets are non-transferrable and non-refundable after a booking has been made.
• All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Full details of the programme and parking information will be sent to all those who book, a week or so before the event.
