Hamble River - Taster Boat Trips 2025
NAS Branch members’ reduced-price trips
WetWheels Hamble - Mercury Yacht Harbour, Satchell Lane, Hamble, Southampton SO31 4HQ, UK
We are once again offering members of NAS South Hampshire Branch a special subsidised one-hour boat trip organised for us by WetWheels Hamble - a chance to get some much needed fresh air!
Individual members or families of up to 4 members can book for these trips below. Only one trip per family (either taster or full experience trip) can be booked this year - ie. if you book a 'taster trip', you cannot book a 'full experience trip' (and vice versa).
This offer is only available to NAS South Hampshire Branch members and their families/carers (if you have received an email about this directly from NAS South Hampshire Branch, then you are eligible). Please do not pass this information on to others. Bookings received from non-Branch members will be cancelled and a refund issued.
You will need to use an Access Code to book which is detailed in the email you have been sent.
What to expect
Expect to gently cruise (river max speed is 6kh) from the marina along the river Hamble passing Hamble Village and it's marinas and then passing Warsash Village and waterfront on the other side. At the mouth of the river you will gain speed as you pass into Southampton Water for a thrilling high speed run before returning to the calm of Hamble river for the return journey.
What to bring
Warm boat suitable clothes (including waterproofs), sunglasses, sun tan lotion, cameras!
How to get there
Free parking is available at Mercury Yacht Harbour.
Bad weather
A trip may be cancelled or postponed due to bad weather or rarely due to equipment failure. The skipper will make this decision and his word will be final. WWHCIC will give as much notice as possible and offer another date or provide a full refund.
On arrival
Each individual or family will be asked to agree to WetWheels terms and conditions on arrival. The main things to be aware of are:
